Angel is the General Manager of a cosmetics company, Pretty Life. She is sophisticated and has a great sense of fashion. Michelle is the Business Manager of a hotel, and epitomizes the typical career woman. Leila is a successful insurance agent while Cherry heads 'Meiman Matchmaking Agency'. They are modern women who are beautiful and confident. However, deep down in their hearts, they are lost and lonely, and yearn for the perfect romance.

All four has different expectations of love and relationship. Angel dates the boss of a flower shop but discovers that the latter may not really be love with her. Michelle meets an old fashioned divorcee with a daughter and unwittingly falls in love. Leila’s aim in life is to marry a rich man, she eventually falls for a pool boy whom she mistakes for a millionaire. Lastly, Cherry is in love with her boss who is a happily married man.

As they search for love, they soon find out that things are usually not what it turns out to be. Will they accept love as it is or pine for something that will not happen?
