2009 has been an incredible year for PhyllisQuek.com therefore before we welcome 2010, let's take a moment and relive the best highlights of this year.

 

1. Phyllis Quek's performance in "Perfect Cut 2".

As acknowledged in the Citta Bella interview, Phyllis wowed the audiences with her outstanding performance in "Perfect Cut 2", thus leading her to subsequently taking on the female lead role of "Kidnapper".

 

2. Phyllis' first drama "Beyond Dawn" rerunning

Fans were able to relive Phyllis' entry to showbiz through the rerunning of "Beyond Dawn". This show also pioneered the concept of uploading full episodes for viewing exclusively at PhyllisQuek.com

 

3. Phyllis gracing the cover of Citta Bella magazine

Phyllis being on a magazine cover is nothing new but the Citta Bella photoshoot is one of Phyllis' favorites to date... it is ours too. Simply gorgeous and stunning, isn't she?

 

4. Phyllis being casted as female lead in "Kidnapper"

Phyllis will be seen in the big screens after all (despite the downfall of "Seven" and "Autumn In March") as the female lead in Kelvin Tong's new thriller "Kidnapper".

 

5. "Commenting" feature implemented

PhyllisQuek.com has become more interactive with the new commenting feature that allows fans to post their opinions and messages to Phyllis. It was also used as platform for some to re-connect with Phyllis once again.

 

6. Phyllis' first hosting gig, "Fashion Asia"

Fans were able to see the fun and interesting side of Phyllis when she took on her first hosting gig in Channel U's "Fashion Asia". Special thanks to phyllisfan for the big scoop.

 

7. Phyllis' birthday countdown & "Freedom" mv

Fans who posted birthday greetings prior to Phyllis' birthday were treated with the preview of "Freedom" mv that was subsequently released on her birthday. Phyllis also made a "surprise appearance" on the website by posting her first message here and thanking her fans.

 

8. "Mind Games" available online

"Mind Games is currently unavailable online. Will notify if it retelecasts on tv.".... Not anymore. With the help of Meijun, fans can now watch this highly requested show again online.

 

9. Phyllis' Channel 8 comeback, "The Best Things In Life"

It has been 2 years since "Live Again" aired in 2007 and fans will finally be able to see her again on Channel 8 when "The Best Things In Life" debuts next year, March 2010.

 

10. Chunks of old stuff available online

Tons of priceless stuff such as photos, videos and TVCs are made available with the contribution of Phyllis and Meijun.
